All students accepted into the Jump Start program for 2013 at Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU) and have a permanent legal residence that is beyond a 30 mile radius from the campus are required to live in SPSU student housing. This policy applies to those entering into the program for Summer 2013.
Students may petition to the University Housing Office for a waiver of the live-on requirement for the reasons listed below. All supporting documentation must be attached to this form and completed at least 10 business days prior to the first day of classes of the program. Release from the on-campus requirement must be approved by a selected committee. If denied, applicants may appeal to the Director of Housing within 10 business days of the date of notification of the denial. All decisions of the Director shall be final. Students who have not been released from the live-on requirement will be assessed room and board charges for the summer.
